Tuesday, May 5th’s Primary Election has only 1 thing to vote on for Cleveland Heights, University Heights residents – Issue 2 – a levy to add $200 annually to property taxes for ever $100k in home value. This levy will remain year after year. Since there are no other issues on the ballot, voter turnout will be much lower than usual and every vote will count!!
Polls open 6:30 and close 7:30pm. Voter registration (i.e. for those who never registered) closed April 6th. But if you have never registered, you can register now in advance of the next election in November.
An application can still be submitted to receive an absentee ballot through May 2nd. Click here to generate an application which will need to be mailed in. You will then receive a ballot by mail which need to be postmarked by May 4th. You can also track your absentee ballot to make sure it is counted here.
