Jewish Community Radio” is NOT “the longest run Jewish Radio show in Cleveland [sic]”. Our program predates it by several decades and has been on the air since 1966.

well, I think Tzvi Turner puts out a wonderful product that the whole community can enjoy, not just Menorah Park!
Shalom America says
I’m not sure what “Moishele” means by his post, but please allow me to address the following issues:
1. Shalom America is broadcast live every Sunday from 7-9 AM on WELW 1330 AM. This is a timeslot which we have held for more than 25 years, long before the other program began in this same slot.
2. The program is enjoyed by thousands of listeners each week across the ENTIRE spectrum of the Jewish community; an audience that is composed of every level of religious observance, age, and gender.
3. In addition to the “News from Israel” (a regular feature of the program since it’s beginning in 1966), we play the latest in Jewish music from around the world in Hebrew, Yiddish, and English, as well as weekly interviews with newsmakers, performers, authors, analysts, religious figures, and others.
4. Our program is not now nor has it EVER been affiliated with “Menorah Park” or any other local or national organization.
5. Our program remains the ONLY PROFESSIONALLY produced Jewish radio program in the entire state of Ohio, and subsists on the graciousness of our advertisers who support quality, professional, Jewish radio that is directed at the entire Jewish community, not just one segment of it.
