The Cuyahoga County OH Sheriff’s Office maintains a Sex Offender Registry as a public service tool. Individuals listed on this registry have been convicted of a sexual offense that requires them to meet a number of mandates including annual registration with law enforcement. This registry is designed to increase community safety and awareness. This site makes its easy to view on a map the names of those registered, the nature of their crimes and victims, their photograph, and more.
LocalJewishNews is publishing this notice at this time in response to a recent alert that someone on this registry has moved onto a street in South Euclid.
Gevalt! says
Interesting. I always thought these guys were not allowed to live so close to a school!
Educate your kids! says
Looking at the registry, there are a number of offenders living within a several block radius of the Frum community in Cleveland Heights (including one on Bainbridge). The best prevention is education – teach your kids the importance of saying no-they are healthy kids, and therefore can tell someone to go away and my parent is around the corner. An important part of raising healthy children is teaching them how to deal with the dark side of life.
Address correction says
This offender actually lives on South Taylor Road, not in South Euclid. 1762 SOUTH TAYLOR CLEVELAND HTS, OH 44118-1934. According to Google Maps, it’s the NW corner house of S. Taylor and Altamont, across the street from Khal Yereim.Speak to your local police officer for tips on protecting your children.
Lets Not Be Hasty says
There are frum people who are on the Beachwood, UH and Cleveland Heights registry as well. Thus, its important to know and teach your children that there are certain behaviors that no one should be permitted to do, no matter by whom, Some of these offenders work in our schools, some take their children to and from school. Regardless, we must always be vigilant and watch our children!!
Resident says
I went on the link provided with the Sherrif’s office and found a number of people listed within a mile, but no one frum..
It remains true that we should teach our children safety regardless, but either I am missing something or there is something amiss about the above comment.
