As a Sofer, I write Gittin for local Rabbonim, and lately I have been writing far too many. I see the issues that are brought in, and I thought to myself that many of the issues could have been easily settled such that a get probably would not have been needed. In an effort to be of help to stem this budding epidemic, I became a professionally trained certified marriage counselor, to complement my previous coaching of couples on a simple level. What I learned was so amazing that I would like to share it with everyone and arrange a workshop with professionals from Cleveland and beyond to address the community. I would like to know how many people in Cleveland would be interested in a marriage upkeep workshop.
Please choose which of the 4 options below would be of interest to you and please email your response together with the name of your shul to Yhmarriage@gmail.com.
Plan A: A 4-hour workshop on November 10th in the afternoon from about 4-8. Professionals in the field will give you valuable tools on how to make a decent marriage better. Cost approx. $100 per couple.
Plan B: A 2-hour workshop on the same date using local professionals from 1:30 – 3:30 offering practical tools to work with. Cost approx $50 per couple.
Plan C: I currently desire to leave things the way they are. If we are in crisis we’ll call you.
Plan D: Any other ideas or comments.
If there is sufficient interest we can arrange the workshops as specified, and I will get back to all interested parties. Thank you.
