I noticed that a large number of fire hydrants are covered up or mostly covered up. When seconds matter, it’s always a good idea to shovel around the fire hydrants to make it easily accessible should it C”VS become necessary. (Ed: Sidewalks too! Don’t forget the kids who aren’t allowed to walk in the street.)

Not clearing sidewalks is a hazzard for anyone, especially the young and old. And its a city ordinance–
521.04 SIDEWALK OBSTRUCTIONS; DAMAGE OR INJURY; SNOW REMOVAL.
(f) No owner or occupant of abutting lands shall fail to keep the sidewalks free from snow, ice or any nuisance.
