University Heights residents want a separate play area for toddlers, a raised gazebo to host concerts, and picnic pavilions of various sizes in their new public park.

More than 30 residents met with city officials and architects Monday night to hammer out details for the park the city plans to build on a 6.5-acre lot that was the former site of Fuchs Mizrachi School.
