A settlement agreement between the parties in a lawsuit involving Oheb Zedek-Taylor Road Synagogue in Cleveland Heights and Oheb Zedek-Cedar Sinai Synagogue in Lyndhurst will allow Taylor Road Synagogue to remain open as an independent entity.
The agreement was reached out of court in late March, said Eric Zagrans, a lawyer who represented the members of Oheb Zedek-Taylor Road who filed the suit, and David Schaefer, an attorney representing Oheb Zedek-Cedar Sinai’s board of trustees, who were the defendants, in an interview April 18.
