(Comment from Jim Ross: “There has been a few minor changes……We are going with ‘Cleveland Kosher’ instead of star K, we decided not to serve wraps at this time (maybe later – menu still being tweaked), and the grand opening had to be moved back, we hope to open by Memorial day. ‘Stay tuned’. Look soon for a new website from us devoted to informing the community about what is going on with this exciting new project, including ways to receive feedback from you.)
A kosher business will move into the former Chocolate Emporium space at the Cedar Green Plaza in University Heights.
A Mother’s Day grand opening is planned for the cafe and party center on Sunday, May 11, said Jim Ross, who will be the store manager.

Wishing them hatzlocha. I’m not sure what kind of CY ice cream they’re going to have, but it would be great if they could get good quality ice cream like you can get in NY, and in a variety of flavors. Banana splits? Sundaes? Would be nice to have good CY options!

It said decided “not to serve wraps at this time” does that mean it will no longer be an Ice cream shop?

Cholov Yisrael will certainly increase the volume of kosher customers – and be a delightful treat for us if they come through.
Sometimes choice of ice cream option can be just the motivation needed for certain tasks – and I don’t mean only for the children. With summer approaching, I do hope we will have the option. Chocolate Emporium is certainly already missed.
Wishing them lots of good luck
