So sad. Our hearts go out to Mrs Cohen and all of the family. Dr. COHEN AH was truly a humble person who didn’t speak much much less any devarim betalim. Only torah and avodah. He was and is an inspiration and walking Musser sefer. How we can we lazy bones not go to shul on time or Koveah iitim when he would literally climb mountains to get to shul and kollel and chavrusos. YEhi zichro baruch.

It is important to note the response of the Emergency personnel at this very tragic event. The city Manager Tanishsa Briley, Police Chief Jeff Robertson, Fire Chief Dave Freeman was all involved from the moment this tragic event occurred. This was reflected at the accident scene with the professional altitude and compassion displayed by the Police Officers and Fire Rescue personnel.
It is worthy to note that the Medical Examiner (coroner) Dr Tom Gilson responded immediately and expedited the process enabling the Funeral to take place in a timely manner.
A special thanks to members of the Chevra Kadisha for being present and spending many hours at the scene of this tragic accident

I met Dr. Cohen around the time that he moved to Cleveland. He had many positive traits. One thing I will remember was his dry humor. He also at one time opened a deli on Taylor road to offer, he told me, a choice for kosher shoppers, b offering products that the other stores did not carry. I would see him at my synagogue each shabbos where he attended a weekly class.
He will truly be missed.
