The City of Cleveland Heights receives Community Development Block Grant funding and runs an application program for nonprofits who serve low- and moderate-income populations in Cleveland Heights. There is an information meeting June 12th. Nonprofits who are interested can attend the meeting or contact Nancy at the City of Cleveland Heights for more information. It may be worthwhile for those in the Jewish community to learn more about this opportunity. Below appears a letter from the city with more details and click here for some general information from HUD:
To Whom It May Concern:
It’s that time of year again. Year 41 (2015) CDBG applications will be available on June 12, 2014.
Completed applications must be returned no later than July 21, 2014. The application itself has not
changed since last year, but you will be required to submit it electronically. There will be a meeting to
discuss the application process for any applicant who wishes to attend. It is not mandatory for 2014
grantees, but all new applicants must attend.
This meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12 in Council Chambers in Cleveland Heights
City Hall. If you wish to attend, please RSVP to me by Monday, June 9 by calling 216-291-4845 or
emailing nmclaughlin@clvhts.com.
The 2015 application packet will be distributed that day. If you are not attending the session, it will be
mailed to the address on file.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Nancy McLaughlin
Development Officer
