(Letter from community leaders)
Dear Friends and Community members,
As you may have heard, Rabbi AD Motzen is being honored with the Spetner Memorial Avodas Hakodesh Award at this year’s Agudath Israel of Illinois dinner on Sunday, June 29 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Agudath Israel of Illinois, with its extensive camping network throughout the Midwest and other community services, is an institution deserving of your support and was an important catalyst in supporting and encouraging Rabbi Motzen’s activities.
From his position as Ohio Director, Rabbi Motzen has quickly risen in the ranks of Agudath Israel. His efforts and accomplishments have had a profound impact on our families, on our schools, on our community, and on our state. His expertise in education policy and in every issue of import to the Jewish community in Ohio has made him a respected and effective advocate in Columbus and throughout the Midwest. With his promotion to National Director of State Relations for Agudath Israel of America, his talents are now being utilized on a national level.
Please join us in recognizing Rabbi Motzen for his extraordinary efforts and accomplishments by going to www.agudathisrael-il.org and making a contribution in his honor or by attending the dinner in person.
Thank you,
Rabbi Yitzchok Margareten, Harry M. Brown, Dovid Malcmacher, Jonathon Heifetz, Yitz Frank
