Last night, 750+ Clevelanders gathered in mourning for the three kidnapped Israeli boys. Our hearts broken, we united as a Jewish community in a show of support for the grieving families, and for the state of Israel.
Moved by the memorial, one community member said, “Let us honor the memory of the victims by performing a mitzvah or giving tzedakah and promoting good in the world.”
We hope that you will join us, and others around the country, in signing a letter of condolence for the families of the victims. While we may live miles apart, our hearts are close together. May their memories forever be a blessing.
Thank you to the rabbis, cantors, public officials, and community members who made last night a deeply meaningful experience for all of us who were able to attend. If you were unable to attend and wish to hear the memorial, you can listen via recorded live stream.
