Have you ever felt the frustration of driving out to Akron/Canton Airport, only to find your neighbor waiting for the same flight? We can change that! There is a new ride “gemach” planned for the Akron Canton Airport now in operation.
The goal is to connect people taking the same flight, allowing them to share rides. The service will be run through the Local Jewish News and a form will take your flight and contact information. The form goes to a private email address and is read by a designated volunteer, so your information will never be visible to others. If there’s a match, all parties will receive contact information.The email will be checked only once a day, so the deadline is 24 hours before your flight. We hope this will help make your traveling go much easier!

Small suggestions for this wonderful idea:
Clarify if the person is departing or arriving (and to put departure vs. arrival times), and be able to match up both – someone dropping someone at the airport may be perfectly happy to bring someone who just landed back.
