A terrorist attack that left four Israeli rabbis and one Israeli policeman dead in a west Jerusalem synagogue Nov. 18 has touched Cleveland’s Jewish community, leaving a Hebrew Academy of Cleveland graduate a widow.
One of the victims, Rabbi Kalman Levine, was the husband of University Heights native Chaya Markovitz Levine, according to Rabbi Simcha Dessler, education director at the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland in Cleveland Heights.
