Severance Town Center appears to be headed for the auction block, after a speedy foreclosure case concluded last week.
Cuyahoga County Judge John P. O’Donnell signed off Dec. 31 on a foreclosure decree related to the notable retail property. Now a lender has asked that the shopping center, at Mayfield and Taylor roads in Cleveland Heights, be sold at a foreclosure auction in an attempt to recoup more than $38 million in debt.

The Rabbi of the conservative Beth Am Synagogue who used to live on Severn Rd and was following the vacancy at Millikin issue recalled that back in the days before Home Depot and Walmart and Hills and Finast when Severence was vacant – crime rose to such levels that “you needed a machete” just to walk in the neighborhood”
I hope it fills soon with something usable and good clientele.

There’s a contractor out there pointing out that Home Depot and Lowes co-exist in Streetsboro getting plenty of traffic and suggested they might do the same as co-anchor stores making Severence the DIYer’s place to go for everything.
