(Received the following request for information for anyone who may know)
Rabbi Joseph Guzik, z”l taught in Cleveland Hebrew Schools in the 1950s and 1960s. Rabbi Guzik hid from the Nazis during WWII in the home of a kind Polish farmer. During the three years he was in hiding, he kept a diary in Hebrew which was recently discovered in the archives of Yad Vashem in Israel.
Rabbanit Esther Farbstein, Director of the Holocaust Center at Michlalah Jerusalem College, is preparing the diary for publication.
She is interested in finding more information on Rabbi Guzik as well as any photos available.

I would like to find out if there is anyone who remembers him, perhaps former students, and can tell us more about him, perhaps some personal anecdotes from school days and any other information possible. Please contact Jessica Setbon – setbon@gmail.com.
