Help Wanted: Virtual Schoolhouse Literacy Specialist for Middle School, Math Specialist for Middle School, Intervention Specialist

Literacy Specialist for Middle School
Virtual Schoolhouse, a brick and mortar building located in Cleveland, is seeking a Literacy  Specialist for Middle School. This position is current. The ideal teacher will have experience working with urban students and special education students. The Literacy Specialist will work with middle school students who are below grade level to accelerate learning and provide support. The candidate must be a collaborative teacher who works well with classroom/content teachers. Being a teacher for Virtual Schoolhouse is

incredibly rewarding and requires candidates who possess an extraordinarily strong work ethic. We are seeking teachers who will promote our vision of becoming an educational model for all students who want to reach academic success. Teachers must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where accountability and high expectations are upheld at all times.  Virtual Schoolhouse teachers must possess a philosophy that 100% of our students will be successful and a positive part of their community.

Teacher duties include using data to inform instruction, participating in team meetings, completing lesson plans that reflect the teaching standards, and being timely and professional at all times. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of achievement, a current teaching license, HQT in content area, and experience in urban youth education.

Math Specialist for Middle School

Intervention Specialist
Virtual Schoolhouse, a brick and mortar building located in Cleveland, is seeking an Intervention Specialist to work with High School students in both inclusion settings and in a resource room. This position is current for the 2014-2015 school year.  The ideal teacher will have experience working with urban students.  The Intervention Specialist is responsible for servicing student IEPs, collaborating with classroom teachers on planning, completing all paperwork in a timely manner, and meeting all deadlines. Being a teacher for Virtual Schoolhouse is incredibly rewarding and requires candidates who possess an extraordinarily strong work ethic. We are seeking teachers who will promote our vision of becoming an educational model for all students who want to reach academic success. Teachers must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where accountability and high expectations are upheld at all times.  Virtual Schoolhouse teachers must possess a philosophy that 100% of our students will be successful and a positive part of their community.

Teachers are specifically responsible for using data to inform instruction, participating in team meetings, completing lesson plans that reflect the teaching standards, and being timely and professional at all times. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of achievement, a current teaching license, and be HQT in English and/or Math.  Experience with urban youth education is preferred.
