Cleveland Heights continues to devise Safer Routes to Schools with new grant application

The city’s new $215,000 application for Safe Routes to Schools funding includes both educational and recreational components.

And the biggest innovation may be the $15,000 request to the Ohio Department of Transportation for a fleet of 30 bicycles, 100 helmets, and a trailer to move the bikes around to participating schools.
