Amazon.com will begin to collect sales tax on sales from Ohio starting Monday. Purchases on Sunday, May 31st will be the last day under the old tax non-collection. Until now, sales tax has been due but has been the responsibility of the individual consumer to report and pay but as of Monday sales tax will be calculated and collected on all purchases (not sure if this true if the item is fulfilled through a non-Amazon third party merchant).
