Beachwood will resurface Shaker and Chagrin boulevards, add and lengthen turn lanes

The city will resurface Shaker Boulevard west of Richmond Road and Chagrin Boulevard between I-271 and Richmond.

The two projects include lengthening the Shaker eastbound turn lane onto Richmond southbound and adding a right turn lane from Chagrin westbound onto Enterprise Parkway.

The estimated cost of the Shaker resurfacing, including the lane lengthening, is a little more than $1 million. The Ohio Department of Transportation will contribute $344,000 toward the work, while the city’s share is $700,000.
