BJ’s Wholesale Club in Warrensville Heights became the first BJ’s in Ohio – and the 36th in the United States – to have a kosher bakery when its oven was made kosher June 24.
Rabbi Moishe Lebovits, rabbinical administrator in charge of new business development for KOF-K Kosher Supervision, was on hand to oversee the process of kosherizing the oven, racks and sheet pans in the store’s bakery section.
The oven was heated at the highest temperature of 450 to 475 degrees, he said.
