The Cedar Road property that was once home to the Young Israel Synagogue has sat vacant for about the past eight years, since the temple was demolished.
That, however, could soon change.
On Aug. 3, the road may be paved to allow for the property to become the new home of University Heights Dental. On that day, at 7:30 p.m. at South Euclid City Hall, a public hearing will be conducted as City Council discusses whether to rezone the property for residential office use. A special council meeting may be held immediately after the hearing to vote on the rezoning.
