Jewish Heritage Day with the Lake County Captains is adding a new twist in 2015.
What has traditionally been a day game will instead be a 6:30 p.m. start Sept. 6 at Classic Park, complete with fireworks.
“It’s something new for the night that we haven’t done before,” said Brian Fisher, ticket sales account executive with the Captains.
Fisher said he scheduled the date with the Orthodox in mind, knowing the usual Friday and Saturday fireworks shows don’t work for Orthodox families.
