Sholom Schonfeld may have made history at MetroHealth Old Brooklyn Health Center in Cleveland when he erected possibly the first sukkah on MetroHealth grounds.
Schonfeld, a member of Ahavas Yisroel synagogue in Cleveland Heights, built the sukkah so that he could spend the holiday with his son, who is in rehab. His son is a student at Telshe Yeshiva in Wickliffe.

Very good to read, all around. Very good of Mr. Schonfeld to be so dedicated to his family, very nice to be so energetic to build the succah, and very nice of the Hospital to be accommodating. I’m proud of them both!
