We are local, Jewish non-profit organization looking to hire a part time administrative/executive assistant.
The responsibilities would include office work, like managing database, logging all info, thank you letters, invoices, receipts, etc, and bookkeeping (not accounting, rather – data entry into quickbooks), professional correspondence, helping with program planning and execution, directing some programming, be on top of weekly update of website and email, and more.
Applicant must also be capable to assist with development and fundraising (the office part) i.e. submitting grants, prospecting, planning, managing the fundraising schedule of executive director, etc.
We are looking for someone motivated and curious, that will be a leader and take intiative in the above areas to further the success of the non-profit organization.
The technical skills required are good reading and writing skills, excellent communication skills, and a good intuition of how to deal with people. Must know basic Word, Excel, Email, etc. All other programs are easy to learn.
4 hours a day (preferably 9 AM – 1 PM). Pay commensurate to skills and experience.
