Several residents living in the vicinity of the University Heights Library say they like the institution, but aren’t happy with its plans for growth.
Since the winter of 2014, the library, at Cedar and Fenwick roads, has been planning to expand both its building footprint, by approximately 5,000 square feet, and its parking lot. It’s the parking lot expansion that has residents of nearby Washington Boulevard particularly concerned.
Isabel Parks says
I am sorry to see houses torn down, but I am happy to see that the library parking lot will be reconfigured. I am glad to see the every one will come in and exit from the back of the building.
