Kashrus Alert – Sunkist Trail Mix

At Walmart on Warrensville this morning, in the fruit section to the left of the bananas, my wife and I noticed an assorted display of Sunkist trail mix packs with an O-K symbol. Some of the products in the line listed “milk solids” as an ingredient though there was no “D” as part of the kashrus symbol. We called the O-K hotline and were told that the O-K symbol on the whole line of products is unauthorized  – see forwarded message below.  Apparently O-K is getting inquiries about this line mostly from the Midwest area and we, and they, thought you might like to put this info into LJN.

Issue	UNAUTHORIZED USE OF OK KOSHER SYMBOL . Snack It Forward is distributing Sunkist Trail Mix and Sunkist Fruit Chips bearing an unauthorized OKKosher symbol on the packaging.
Action	Corrective action is being taken.
