A pledge for a $10 million lead gift to help finance Hebrew Academy of Cleveland’s proposed new school campus on the site of the former Oakwood Club in Cleveland Heights was announced Nov. 16 by Ohio’s largest Jewish day school.
“Our Vision 2020 Capital Campaign is thrilled and fortunate to have been launched with the largest gift ever to the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland,” said Rabbi Eli Dessler, Hebrew Academy’s financial director. “This generous gift will have a major impact in the lives of thousands of students in the years to come.”

If you read the article, it says that they don’t plan on breaking ground until the spring of 2017- and not moving in until September 2019. That is in a very long time!

This is the best thing to happen to Cleve Hts in the last 70 years! The first best thing was when the HAC built on Taylor way back! IYH, this will ensure Quality Jewish Education for generations and generations! The vision of the Telzer Roshei Yeshiva, Rav Motel Katz, TZL and Rav Eliyahu Meir Blocj TZL which was carried out and implemented by Harav N.W. Dessler, TZL and others is continuing and continuing the legacy and imperial wisdom of generations.

comment to Jack… for a project of this magnitude, it takes lots of planning and fundraising etc,, it doesnnt happen overnight…. breaking ground in 2017 is quite an accomplishment!

I was not saying anything negative about the timeline of this project. Obviously, projects of this magnitude take time. I was only responding to the first comment that this project will happen sooner than people think. It won;t be too soon as we are at least 3 years away (if there are no obstacles)
