Ever since mid-October LocalJewishNews.com has had an increase in complaints that readers are not getting their daily email digests. This lead to a reassessment of how we send out emails (over 1,700 per day) and an increase in resources towards using the best possible service. As of today, our own private server will no longer be handling email but instead a new well-reputed email-server-only company will be handling our email needs. It is hoped that this will help us to once again achieve a high delivery rate and be able to better handle the load of 35,000 emails per month.
So please help us out and give us feedback on how it is going. If you were one of those people who have not been getting reliable delivery, let us know if anything changed for you this week.
