As the disclaimer at the bottom of the ad states, we have received piskei halacha that one may be yotzei hearing the Megillah over the radio, if there is no way to hear it in person. This is based on a teshuvah from Reb Moshe Feinstein in Igros Moshe, where he paskened that one may be yotzei hearing the Megillah over the phone.
Further, we take the following steps in order to provide that the reading is kosher:
1. It is LIVE with no delay when heard over the radio – (there IS a delay over the internet, so that is not a viable way to fulfill the mitzvah)
2. The reading is uninterrupted, there are no commercials or station-breaks
3. The reading is from a kosher scroll
4. There are people physically in attendance at the reading who are listening for the purpose of being yotzei, the Megillah is not just being read in case someone tunes-in to be yotzei.
Of course, one should always talk to their LOR for clarification.
Agree with Shawn on this… it’s a psak from reb Moshe Feinstein ztl… of course as it states… it’d for one has no other alternative such as someone elderly or sick and cannot get out or have someone come to them… furthermore if the person listening has a kosher megilla in front of them and they say along with the baal koreih then for sure they are yotzei because they themselves are reading every word….

i do not think you can have a kosher megilla reading through the radio but must hear it live
ask your local rabbi!
