After many months of hard work, we’re thrilled to soon be opening a local WIC office in South Euclid at 14055 Cedar Avenue, Suite 200, South Euclid.
(across from Target).
The new office will be a full service WIC clinic, staffed by WIC employees and will handle any WIC related issue.
“Instead of schlepping to the downtown office every six months with all your kids and every three months to refill your card, you’ll now be able to pop right in to an office within the community.” said Rabbi Aryeh Leib Joseph, Resource Coordinator at Gesher. “We’ve eliminated the need to go to the downtown office completely. With an office that’s right in our backyard, we hope more people than ever will access WIC benefits.”
The new office will feature a central location, ground level location and free parking.
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides Federal grants for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five.
