We wish to take this opportunity to bid farewell to our many Cleveland friends and to wish one and all our deepest hopes that we will continue to share good news, good wishes and the happiest of occasions from near and far, always.
To honor our upcoming move to Baltimore, we would like to invite the community to a Kiddush at Young Israel – Hebrew Academy at 11:45 am, אי’’ה, on Shabbos, Parshas Kedoshim, May 14, 2016.

Stalwarts and pillars of the Cleveland community for Generations. Indeed it is due to the efforts of the Spero family, particularly one of the Patriarch’s, Mr. Herbert Spero OBM, that Cleveland is what it is today by helping found Telshe Yeshiva and Young Israel. He understood the value of having, supporting and listening to the Roshei Yeshiva European giants that came from oversees…. and… you see what Cleveland is today! Unfortunately not so for many Ohio cities such as Youngstown, Dayton, etc,,, that were much bigger Jewish Ohio cites in the early 1950’s. It can be said that the Spero family built yiddishkeit and the jewish community in Cleveland. Particularly in the early days under the Spero Foundation.
