Some community members have created a petition to encourage Dunkin Donuts at Cedar Center to become kosher. No word on whether the expectation is for cholov yisroel or not but first steps first.

From David Farkas:
Thank you for posting. The petition, which has been enthusiastically supported since it was put up on Friday, is the first phase of our efforts. Once we have a suitable amount of signatures, we will IYH meet with the franchise owners to discuss possibilities, potential obstacles, and solutions. We will do everything we can to make it a reality. But the first and most important step is demonstrating to the owners the market share they can capture by going Kosher.
Signing the petition takes about 15 seconds. Please click the link to sign the petition today (if you haven’t already done so) and get your friends and spouses to do so as well. Even those who live out of town, but would appreciate a Kosher D & D for when they visit, should sign.

Hot Dog Stand says
A kosher Dunkin Donuts would be great! Especially at this location. But Cholov Yisroel? This is unrealistic. (There, I said that nicely, despite the sugar rush from the 6 Amy Joys I just polished off.)
Why.... says
Which part of Cholov Yisroel makes it unrealistic exactly?
MisterG says
All DD use the same batter, which is dairy, but not cholev yisroel, so unless they don’t use the DD batter that all the stores use, it cannot be cholev yisroel.
Channah says
I am just wondering- what’s the deal with Amy joy? Is it the location that makes it not good enough?
Change the Petition says
The University Heights DD was robbed by GUNPOINT last month! Not safe!! The South Euclid DD/Baskin& Robins at Mayfield/Belvoir already has Orthodox people there regularly eating the kosher ice cream. Change the petition to this DD would make a lot more sense!
Therefore what.... says
Robbed by gunpoint happen everyday…..should we close them all down?!
