Gesher is seeking to hire a Case Manager, with an emphasis on assisting homebound seniors in the community.
The candidate will help clients determine their eligibility for various programs, and ensure that they meet the necessary qualifications. Typically, the applications are for government aid particularly applying for health care e.g. Medicare or Medicaid. The job involves fact checking, record keeping, and advocacy on behalf of our clients. In addition, he or she will act as a resource for those in need of financial assistance.
Hours:
- 30 hours per week
Requirements include:
- Experience in case management and a familiarity with Government programs
- Basic computer proficiency
- A passion for helping people
- Outstanding communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task
- Driver’s license and a reliable personal automobile for travel
