Mendy – I Miss Your Emails

Dear Mendy, z”l,

As we commemorated your Shloshim, I couldn’t help but think how much I miss your emails. I didn’t fully appreciate that your relentless stream of ideas and causes changed our worlds and woke us up to the most pressing needs of today and tomorrow.

I recently heard a shiur and my immediate reaction was wishing I could email it to you so you could shout it to the frum world. I am sure you would have agreed. Alas, the Jewish People has lost one of our modern day Neviim whose relentless pursuit of what is right and good for Klal Yisrael compelled us to constantly improve.

But we are bereft, and I desperately miss your emails.
