(Orders that haven’t been confirmed haven’t been received. We apologize up front for this rare occurrence and ask that you try again.)
Please place your order by Rosh Chodesh Adar Beis / Thursday, March 7th to ensure quantities. (This time frame includes those ordering Matzos baked prior to the Rav’s baking.)
In case it’s closer to chodesh Nissan and you haven’t yet ordered, or you need to add to your previous order, feel free to call as late as Chol Hamoed, as extra Matzah is baked and occasionally extra Matzah becomes available even after we are officially sold out.
In case you are interested in ordering Shitas HaRosh Chaburah Matzah, please be aware that almost no extra is baked. So please don’t put off ordering. Please order NOW.
The Matzah is sold at Khal Yereim Shul 1771 S. Taylor Rd. on April 10th & 11th. Please mark your calendars and check back at Local Jewish News after Purim for more details.
The prices for the Matzos are determined after shipping and handling, a day or two before the selling. Signs with the prices will be be posted in the Shul on the days of the selling.
The Matzah is sold by the pound.
A number of varieties are available:
1. Regular (white flour Matzah)
2. Semi Whole Wheat (mix of white & ww flour)
3. 100% whole wheat (usually $2 more per lb)
4. Spelt (box of 6 Matzos, less than a lb, some years not made with Rav Blum’s baking.)
5. Oat (box of 3 Matzos, less than a lb, not made with Rav Blum’s baking)
6. Matzah Meal (also shemurah)
7. Special Shitas HaRosh Chaburah Matzah with or without Arizona or similar flour. (Usually about $10 more per pound.) May also be available as Satmar Matzos.
Thanks to the thin nature of these Matzos, most years the main varietes have 8 to 9 Matzos per pound. As much as we try to prevent breakage, thinner Matzos can break easier. Most years most pounds that we sell are mostly Halachicaly Shleimim. We cannot however be responsible for breakage under any condition. All sales are final.
No one, not even those involved with the selling of the Matzos, including Rav Blum himself, picks & chooses through their Matzos.
We are a not for profit community service which Rav Blum’s father, zt”l, started over half a century ago for his Kehillah & the community at large. Rav Blum, Shlita, has carried on the tradition.
