We as a community heeded the warnings in the face of the global pandemic. We sat alone. We prayed, we joined our hearts with one another, and with the grace of Hashem, our efforts bore fruit, and we were spared of the worst.
Now that we hope that most of the danger is behind us, it is very important to note that we are not free from the danger of a COVID-19 resurgence.
We must still remain cautious and vigilant.
The virus does not discriminate between classes, races, or ethnicities, and surely it does not pick and choose certain individuals within a community.
If you feel any of the COVID-19 symptoms, it is extremely important to call your doctor immediately and stay away from others in order to prevent the spread chas veshalom (G-d forbid).
As we enter the new phase of our community’s reopening, we must still continue to unite our hearts in prayer and love. Together, we will stay strong and healthy through the thickest of times.
Please care for those who are sick. Reach out to see how you can help. Let’s make an effort to respect the dignity of ill community members and prevent it’s stigma. As always Bikur Cholim of Cleveland is here for you at (216) 320-1771 or info@BCcle.org.
