Bikur Cholim is hosting our annual #Pushkaweek Drive June 15-23. Pushkaweek is a time for the community to gather its loose change (and dollar bills) to help heal the sick. All monies collected will support Bikur Cholim’s annual operational expenses.
All of Bikur Cholim’s services are provided free of charge to local area Jews and those who come to Cleveland for medical services from across the globe.
How does it work? Pushka cans can be picked up and returned at the following locations:
- Bikur Cholim office (1845 S. Taylor Road)
- Boris’s Kosher Meats (14406 Cedar Road)
- The Grove Kosher Market (1930 Warrensville Center Road)
- Grand Judaica (1873 S. Taylor Road)
- Jacobovitch Home (28781 Clark Drive, Wickliffe)
- Milky Way Cleveland (1980 Warrensville Center Road)
New to this year’s campaign is a $10K corporate match made possible by Sema Builders. “I believe in the work of Bikur Cholim and the medical support they provide,” states Alex Traube, owner of Sema Builders. “This is my way of giving back, and I encourage the Cleveland Jewish community to do the same so Bikur Cholim can be there for them during their time of need.”
