The levaya for Ben Chafetz, Binyomin Riel ben Gershon Yeshaya, z”l, will be 2pm today, Friday, at Berkowitz Kumin. Kevura will follow at Chesed Shel Emes, 3740 Ridge Road, Brooklyn, OH.

Ben Chafetz and Baruch Taub are missing after taking off in a small private airplane headed from the east coast to Cleveland.

This information is preliminary and subject to change. 

A single-engine Beechcraft A36 crashed after the pilot reported engine issues approximately one mile from Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y.around 6:15 p.m.local time on Thursday, Jan. 19. An unknown number of people were on board. The plane was traveling from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Cuyahoga County Airport in Richmond Heights, Ohio.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate. The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide any updates.

He will be returning to Cleveland on Monday, approximately 3pm, and will be sitting at his home, 3755 Bainbridge Road, through Tuesday morning.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Jack Alan Diller (Yakov Eli Ben Moshe Yosef). Jack is the son of the late Joseph and Golda Diller and is survived by his six siblings Shea Diller, Faigie Tropper, Adela Berman, Giti Cohen, Miriam Elbaz, and Suzi Elbaz. Jack is the loving husband of Laura Diller and devoted father of Shoshana and David Diller.

The levaya will be held at Berkowitz Kumin at 11:30am tomorrow, Monday the 26th, followed by kevurah at Chesed Shel Emes.

Shiva will be at 3541 Severn Road. Mincha/Maariv will be at 4:50pm. Visitation until 8:30pm. More minyanim and shiva hours to follow.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Avrum Eisenstein, father Henna Klarfeld.

Burial will be today, Thursday, December 22, in Eretz Yisroel at Har HaMenuchos. Shiva will be in Israel until Motzei Shabbos, in New York on Sunday and Monday, and Henna will sit Shiva in Cleveland on Tuesday.
