Updated Cleveland Tehillim List Now Available

An updated Tehillim List of the Cleveland Tehillim Chevra is now available. This is the second list of 5778.

The list is being published as a partnership between Local Jewish News and Mrs. Chanie Malcmacher in the hope that it will cause even more community members to be mispalel on behalf of those in need. It will continue its practice of approximately six bi-monthly print editions.

In order to maintain seder, the following long-standing guidelines remain in place for the inclusion of a name:

  • The choleh must be a Clevelander or the direct relative of a Clevelander
  • The exactly correct Hebrew name and its correct spelling must be provided
  • Permission of the family must have been obtained
  • The choleh must be reconfirmed for each edition of the list

Currently, the community has the merit of completing the entire Tehillim nearly two times daily. To participate in a daily completion of the Tehillim, please email Mrs. Malcmacher at justdaven@gmail.com.

Community-Wide Tehillim for the Gruens at 7:45pm

There will be a community-wide Tehillim gathering for the Gruen children (tragically injured in a car accident this past Friday)  Tuesday evening at 7:45pm, followed by Mincha, at Hebrew Academy of Cleveland, 1860 South Taylor Road Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

At 10am Sunday there will be a tehillim gathering (men and women)  in the shul Beis Doniel for the Gruen family.

Please bring your own tehillim and either walk or park on Maple or the lower block of Severn.

These are two young girls that were in a terrible car accident and are in critical condition.  They are a local, Cleveland family. Daven for them now and include them in your Tefillos when you light candles.

The list is being published as a partnership between Local Jewish News and Mrs. Chanie Malcmacher in the hope that it will cause even more community members to be mispalel on behalf of those in need.

Please Daven for a Refuah Shlaima for Rabbi Baron

Please daven for Nosson Tzvi Ben Shaina, Rabbi Baron, who is in need of tremendous rachmai shamaim.

Rabbi Baron was a long time member of the Cleveland community and was a Rabbi in yeshiva high school for many years. He recently moved to Eretz Yisroel and is currently in critical condition.

There will be Tehillim tonight, Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. for our Rav RAPHAEL BEN TOIBA LEAH at Heights Jewish Center, followed by Mincha at 8:05 PM.

A pillar of our community, Mrs. Landau, of Matan BSayser has given such an extraordinary amount of delicious food, kind words, wise advice to thousands and thousands of us over the years and now she needs us. Tefillos Request for Missing Bochur in Israel

Please daven for the yeshiva bachur from Lakewood- Aaron Ben Chulda Sofer who has been missing in Eretz Yisroel since Fridayafternoon.
TEHILIM FOR AHARON SOFER! Please pass this on to as many people as possible.The family has set up numbers for people to call for people to take perakim of tehillim so we can try to finish sefer tehillim 1,000 times.  Anyone interested can call 058-320-4859 or 058-320-4860,  917-809-5145 or 917-809-5146.  These numbers all ring to an Israeli cell phone so between 11 pm and 8 am Israel time, please text 443-929-6549and we will respond with perakim to say.
