Four of Cleveland’s leading firms will host a free seminar about getting started syndicating loans for commercial real estate. The seminar will feature Ira Zlotowitz, the nationally prominent
founder and president of Eastern Union. The one-hour event, which is geared toward anyone looking to learn more about commercial real estate or start their career in real estate part time, takes place this Wednesday night, July 24 at 7:25 p.m. at the Hyatt Place Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, Ohio. The event is sponsored by Madison Title Agency, Ulmer & Berne LLP, Kozuch Insurance
Services, and Apple Growth Partners.
The presentation, which will focus on the syndicating bridge lending component of the commercial real estate sector, will be followed by a question-and-answer session featuring both Zlotowitz and representatives of the hosting companies.
“If you’re contemplating entry into the worlds of commercial real estate or finance, it pays to possess a solid understanding of bridge loan syndication,” said Zlotowitz. “When people seek a suitable entry point into this sector, they often assume their first step must involve investing some manageable amount of equity as part of a syndicate of investors. But another rewarding pathway is to play a role in the syndication of loans. That will be our focus on July 24.”
“All attendees are certain to benefit, as this is a great source of education, and can provide opportunity for potential careers in finance, real estate, or business,” said Dovid Gross, Director of Ohio Operations at Gesher’s Cleveland branch. “Ira Zlotowitz is respected across America as a real estate luminary. It’s a privilege to have him share his expertise with aspiring professionals in our area.”
The question-and-answer session that will follow Zlotowitz’s presentation will include panelists Aaron Sonnenschein of Madison Title Agency, Menachem Kaye of Apple Growth Partners, Daniel Gottesman of Ulmer & Berne, and Roger Kozuch of Kozuch Insurance Services. While the seminar portion of the event will be available via livestream, the question-and-answer session
will not.
