Girls Art Class – Ages 6 and Up

Girls’ art ages 6 and up! Taught by the talented and fabulous Marla Dawn Kassoff!  It will be 5 consecutive Monday’s at 4:30 PM beginning 2/1 and running through 2/29. $50/ girl including supplies. My address is 14475 E Carroll. I need payment by 1/4 so Marla can buy supplies and plan lessons. She needs to know the exact number of girls so everyone has all the supplies they need. I am so excited! Please call me at 216-374-3173 with any questions. If your daughter wants a serious art class, not just gluing supplies from Michael’s, please let me know. Marla brings out every girl’s creativity and magnificence.

Federation campaign raises nearly $31 million

Fedcamps2015(Cleveland Jewish News)

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s 2016 Campaign for Jewish Needs raised $30,761,661, surpassing last year’s total of $30,317,879.

Dan Zelman, general campaign chair, announced the figure at the Campaign Closing Celebration before about 300 people Dec. 16 at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.

Where to buy your EZ Pass? Look Past the Service Fees and Consider Where You Will Use It

Both the Ohio and Pennsylvania Turnpike are filled with signs promoting deep discounts and as much as 50% off on some tolls with EZ Pass. As with many deals, the real distinctions are in the fine print.

So when you elect where to buy your first or replace your current EZ Pass, consider the following:

  • Monthly, annual fee?
  • Minimum amount able to be carried, mandatory refills?
  • Service fees?
  • Price for the little white box?

Yeshiva Derech HaTorah Completes Acquisition

Yeshiva Derech HaTorah announces that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Mosdos Ohr HaTorah. The closing completed a process that began in the summer pursuant to a judicial dissolution action started by Mosdos Ohr HaTorah. Moish Tohn, the Executive Director of Yeshiva Derech HaTorah said, “We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of the parents, teachers, students and the community. Classes today look much like classes yesterday and we are proud to provide the continuity to our students and parents. The new administration, Board and our funders are committed and dedicated to the highest ideals of Torah education and expect to continue to improve the education our students receive while maintaining a sound fiscal base.”

Bnos is Updating Their Mailing List

Bnos of University Heights and Beachwood is updating their mailing lists! Bnos in our neighborhood, has weekly Shabbos groups for girls in kindergarten through sixth grade.
