LJN has confirmed that a carjacking did occur on November 22 on Elmdale Rd in University Heights, to a woman in our community. The police report can be found at http://webreports.taccomputer.net/policeReport/pdfs/52/I1618034.PDF.

It’s important to be reminded that–even though no weapon was believed to have been used in these carjackings–no material possessions are worth risking your life for.

The community is invited to the Campaign Closing Celebration, the grand finale of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s 2017 Campaign for Jewish Needs, on Wednesday, December 14 at 7 pm at the Mandel JCC Stonehill Auditorium (26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood).

The party celebrates the Jewish community’s inspiring work raising funds for the Federation’s Campaign for Jewish Needs, the annual fundraising campaign that ensures our community’s vitality and vibrancy in the year ahead.
