After more than 40 years in the rabbinate, Rabbi Melvin Granatstein has written his first book.
Granatstein, rabbi emeritus of Green Road Synagogue in Beachwood, is author of the newly published “Meditations at Twilight on Genesis.” He will discuss the book and sign copies of it at 8 p.m. Aug. 20 at Green Road Synagogue.

Cuyahoga County Section 8 Lottery
Next week between 12:00 a.m. August 3rd and 12:00 a.m. August 7th, The CHMA is holding a lottery for Section 8 vouchers, there will be 10,000 winners added to the waiting list.
This a unique opportunity, as they are approving an unusually high amount of applicants and the next lottery is predicted for 2019! The only place to register is on line, see attached flyer for more details. This may help not only very low income individuals in our community, but elderly or disabled too. There are several Section 8 homes and apartment buildings close to the Orthodox communities.
