After 20 years on City Council, including the past 16 years as Council president and mayor, Kelley will retire at the end of the month.
This is a repeat of the presentation given about 2 weeks ago and being repeated for the benefit of the community who have so enjoyed her speaking.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland and the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland present “Not Your Typical Camp Fair” on Sunday January 12, 2014. This informative event offers prospective campers and their parents the opportunity to learn about a variety of Jewish overnight camps, meet the camp directors, and talk with other camp families. The Camp Fair takes place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Whirly Ball Cleveland, 5055 Richmond Road, Bedford Heights.
We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Ben Nagler, husband of Rose Nagler and father of Abby Nagler. The funeral was graveside, at Mt Sinai Cemetery on SOM Center Rd. on Sunday December 29, at 3pm.

For a long while, schools and organizations have been asking for an Orthodox community-wide calendar to keep track of events and reduce the amount of double-scheduling.

Cleveland Heights Councilwoman Bonnie Caplan has thoroughly enjoyed her 20 years on city council, but she said it’s time for her to move on and do something else.
“Twenty years is enough,” said Caplan, who did not seek re-election in November and will retire from council when her fifth four-year term expires Tuesday, Dec. 31.

University Heights Vice Mayor Frankie Goldberg said she “absolutely” would have wanted to continue as a city council member if not for term limits.
“It truly has been an honor and a privilege to represent the citizens of University Heights,” Goldberg said. “These 12 years have gone by so quickly – like the blink of an eye – and I will miss it tremendously.”
Jewish Family Service Association will host a Jewish job search wisdom workshop from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 24075 Commerce Park in Beachwood.
