The city’s Planning Commission held a public hearing April 11 to hear residents’ thoughts about the new South Euclid-Lyndhurst branch building to be built on South Green Road.
But, while that was the intent of the hearing, most people wanted to talk about the building being left behind.
Aish HaTorah is running a hat sale once again on Monday evening, April 22nd at the home of Doreen Warn, 2400 Blossom Lane in Beachwood. 7:30-9PM. Vendors will be selling hats, jewelry, handmade soaps and more!
The Women’s Choir of Cleveland is looking for members to perform at the upcoming In Harmony concert on May 26th at Notre Dame. No previous experience necessary, but a commitment to 5 Sunday evening rehearsals (plus a dress rehearsal) is a must. Interested? Following Yachad’s North American Inclusion Month (NAIM) in February, 30 synagogues coast to coast are recipients of the Inclusive Synagogue Award, presented in response to a challenge from Yachad to synagogues and temples throughout North America to increase their Inclusion of individuals with disabilities.
Yachad, the flagship program of the Orthodox Union’s National Jewish Council for Disabilities (NJCD), provides unique social, educational and recreational programs for individuals with learning, developmental and physical disabilities with the goal of their Inclusion in the total life of the Jewish community.
