I-271 Widening Project Near Miles Road

GARFIELD HEIGHTS – Crews began preliminary operations on the widening project between the Cuyahoga/Summit county line and Miles Road in the cities of Bedford, Bedford Heights, Warrensville Heights and Oakwood  on Aug. 1.

The entire project includes full-depth pavement replacement, widening and bridge work on Interstate 271 north and southbound between the Cuyahoga/Summit county line and Miles Road.

The monthly First Friday used book bag sale at Lee Rd. has a special focus in August. It will feature children’s and teen books as well as books about education and resources for teachers. Come get books for your classrooms or to give your kids to take home. LARGE Selection! All day: 9 am to 9pm, Friday August 5th in the upstairs bookshop at Lee Rd. Fill a grocery bag for $4.

  • Cleveland Heights residents can also bring their bicycles to get bike licenses free of charge.
