Request from Barbara (Adler) Kleid – Tzedakah for Two Yesomim with Cleveland Roots
From Barbara Adler
Less than two weeks ago on January 14, 2018, my family experienced a tragic catastrophe that no one should have to experience. This made national news for days.
A boat in Port Richey, Florida caught fire suddenly with fifty passengers on board. Many passengers were injured and one passenger succumbed to her injuries. That person was my dear niece, Carrie, a 42 year old mother who had twin children, a boy and a girl twelve years of age.
Carrie’s husband passed away suddenly in 2011 so these two distraught children are now orphaned.
I am reaching out to the communities of Cleveland and Detroit. Carrie grew up in Beachwood while in elementary school before moving to Tampa, Florida.
I am reaching out to the community to ask for assistance on behalf of the children in three ways:
1. Check out the site gofundme.com/the-dempsey-family and pay by credit card
2. Make a check out to TEP or Tzedukah Enhancement Fund then mail the check to Mrs. Barbara Kleid at 26071 Marlowe Place Oak Park, MI 48237 by February 3, 2018. I will then turn over the checks made out to TEP to Rabbi Daniel Arm, the director of the organization. This is a way to get a tax receipt.
3. Mail a check made out to Renee Deutsch (the grandmother) mail directly to her 11905 Nicklaus Circle Tampa, Florida 33624
Thank You Very Much,
Mrs. Barbara (Adler) Kleid and Family
