‘Remembering Project’ keeps Holocaust memories alive

Four Holocaust survivors will share their personal experiences of the Holocaust during a screening of the documentary “The Remembering Project” at 7 p.m. Jan. 13 at Montefiore in Beachwood.
Natalie Bauman, CEO and founder of The Digital Mosaic, a digital storytelling app, produced the 30-minute documentary. The film was funded by a grant from the Saltzman Youth Panel of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.

Severance Town Center could be sold at foreclosure auction

Severance Town Center appears to be headed for the auction block, after a speedy foreclosure case concluded last week.
Cuyahoga County Judge John P. O’Donnell signed off Dec. 31 on a foreclosure decree related to the notable retail property. Now a lender has asked that the shopping center, at Mayfield and Taylor roads in Cleveland Heights, be sold at a foreclosure auction in an attempt to recoup more than $38 million in debt.

Thanks for a Great JMed Connect Networking Event at Montefiore

Last evening JMED Connect Networking event at Montefiore was a great success. A huge thank you to Susan Lieberman head of Marketing for Montefiore for providing us a meeting room in their new Maltz Hospice and Palliative Care unit.
Those who came out in the cold last night had a great experience in networking. Everyone had the opportunity to directly connect, get to introduce themselves and their type of healthcare related services, and everyone took home gained knowledge of who they can contact when a need arises. We were presented with an outstanding talk from Dr. Nosson Goldfarb who told us about how and why he has implemented alternative medicine into his own physician office practice. And we thank him for taking the time to speak to us. He walked away with meeting people who had interest in learning more from him.
