After many years of negotiations, meetings, and the involvement of countless city officials, school board members, parents, students, and community members, we have reached this really tremendous milestone. An agreement has been signed to sell most of the Milliken property to Mosdos to create a new campus right in the middle of our great neighborhood! For many years, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland has maintained a Community Planning Calendar that has helped community organizations coordinate schedules so that major community events/meetings were not planned in conflict with each other. Historically, in order to check dates on the calendar, an organization needed to contact Federation and would then be sent a printout for the dates in question. To add an event, an organization needed to e-mail Federation with the details and we would then add the information. This was a time-consuming process that sometimes could take several days. We are now able to offer a more efficient method, as we have moved the Planning Calendar to a web based platform that allows organizations to view the calendar for themselves via the internet and to enter/edit events directly.
